Who We Are.

The Houston Tuskegee Alumni Association serves to do the following:

  • To provide scholarships to incoming freshmen and financial support to students that seek assistance.

  • To coordinate and promote programs that instills good will and pride and provides opportunities for professional growth and social interaction.

  • To expand opportunities for alumni to maintain their relationships with one another. 

  • To elevate HTAA’s reputation and raise visibility in the community.

  • To promote and enhance effective communication between Tuskegee University and alumni. 

  • To encourage financial support of the University. 

Meeting Cadence

HTAA meetings are typically held on the first Sunday of each month from 2:00 PM–3:30 PM. Meetings may be adjusted when necessary to accommodate holidays, Association events, or other scheduling considerations. Meetings are open to both paid and unpaid members, and all members are encouraged to attend and stay engaged with the Association’s activities and initiatives.

The following meetings will be held in-person at the Alpha Merit House (1519 Ruth St, Houston, TX 77004): September, December, March and May.
